Review: Amazing Smoothie Recipes and More

I stumbled across the Amazing Smoothie Recipes ebook when I was looking online for some diet smoothie recipes.  However, I was pleasantly surprised that the Amazing Smoothie recipes ebook is so much more than just recipes.  In fact, this ebook also goes into detail about why we should all drink smoothies, the importance of 5 a day (fruits and vegetables that is, and sadly most don’t even get 3 a day) and how diets rich in fruits and vegetables can not only help you lose weight but also help prevent a variety of health problems. 

Amazing Smoothie Recipes also comes with 4 bonus ebooks (which I will discuss later) all for just $9.95.  This ebook comes in PDF format which can  be printed out and put into a 3 ring binder, or do what I did and save the smoothie recipes ebook along with the bonuses in a separate folder on your computer.

Amazing Smoothies also shares over 200 delicious recipes as well as a wealth of information about the key nutrients in a variety of fruits.  For example, did you know that cherries are full of important anti-inflammatory compounds. They are also a good source of Vitamin C and beta carotene.  I am one of those individuals who loves to sit and read  about health and nutrition but if you just want to skip to the smoothie recipes that’s fine too!  Just skip to page 59 for the Super Summer Smoothie or maybe try the Pineapple Berry Surprise Smoothie on page 46.  You will also find that the ingredients are all readily available in your supermarket.

There is one thing that I do want to mention which is that liquid measurements are given in ml instead of cups.  However, most liquid measuring cups  give the ml measurements as well as cups.  So it is easy to see that a diet smoothie recipe calling for 200 ml of orange juice is actually just under 1 cup.  A few of the recipes also use grams instead of ounces but again, they are easy enough to convert.  In fact the nice thing about smoothie recipes is you can be a little off with your measurements and they still taste great!  In fact, when I make my smoothies I generally just estimate.
